I am also a victim of these ridiculous fees. It is a total robbery, how is this even allowed!??? $1,200 for less than $100 in tolls because I forgot to change my credit card info in time!#N#It honestly makes me want to hire an attorney but that would be much more expensive than the fees alone and that's what I'm trying to take care of now.

I too have been a victim of these ridiculous fees. I return from school only to see that i owe $2600 IN FEES to HCTRA!!! Apparently my EZ tag was inactive.. IM A a full time student and mother. I pleaded with them to pay a minimum that i could afford but they refused. If i miss a payment ,a fee of $610 will be added.
