He attacks Miller and begins brutally bludgeoning him with his fists. With Ron just inches away from death, Nate tells Bonnie that Ron is responsible for the death of his father and Bonnie finishes off the crime.
Later, the rest of the Keating Four and Oliver find out that Nate killed Miller. Bonnie discovers a phone call Miller made which makes him seem innocent. After Bonnie shows Nate and Annalise the phone call Miller made before the transfer of Nate Sr., Nate decides to prove Miller is responsible for his father's death.

Annalise and Nate have had a tumultuous relationship. While it is true that Annalise has done terrible things to Nate, the way he has responded hasn't always been appropriate. In many instances, Nate has hurled harmful insults at Annalise, using her deepest insecurities against her. Annalise does not confide in many people so it is particularly vicious for Nate to then use these weaknesses against her. He has called Annalise a cancer, pathetic, unlovable, a worthless pathetic drunk, and more. It's probably best that these two just stay away from each other.
Originally, Nia summons Annalise to her hospital room and asks Annalise to help her acquire pills to end her own life. Annalise refuses and then tells Nate what happened. Upon hearing this, Nate provides Nia with the pills to kill herself. Whether or not assisted suicide is wrong is a highly debated topic.
The first time Nate is shown with Atwood is after a fight he has with Annalise over her relationship with Eve. This likely means that Nate pursued Atwood out of anger and frustration with Annalise. Atwood was also the main antagonist for much of season 3, working to take down Annalise and the others.

Annalise didn't seem to care that she was Sam's mistress when she began to pursue him. Their relationship caused Sam's marriage to fail. After he was divorced, Annalise happily married him, not caring that he had abandoned his former wife and child to be with her.
Isaac wasn't the first therapist Annalise grew interested in. Sam, her deceased husband, was also Annalise's therapist. She began seeing him after ending her relationship with Eve as Annalise struggled to accept her sexuality. Sam was married to a woman named Vivian who was pregnant with his child. This child is now known to fans as Gabriel came to Middleton to learn more about Sam.
The lowest point of their relationship was when Annalise discovered that Frank had inadvertently caused the death of her child. She sent him away and Frank went on a revenge killing spree.
Renee Atwood is a supporting character on How to Get Away with Murder. She was an A.D.A. and was dating Nate Lahey. She serves as the primary antagonist for the first half of Season 3 and a secondary antagonist of the second half. She was fired when it was revealed that she had Wes Gibbins ' body moved which was subsequently cremated.
Renee wants to make things more public however Nate wants to keep what they've got between themselves for the time being. The conversation moves to Annalise coincidently where Renee mentions that Annalise is calling herself an alcoholic which will most likely get her her job back knowing Annalise she says.
Annalise argues to the judge that Renee purposely hid the image from Annalise. The Judge doesn't see it and allows the image. After court, Annalise visits her in her office where she commends Renee for using one of her own tactics, withholding something from evidence discovery until the last minute.
Renee refuses to negotiate with her, not just because of her client but because of a personal grudge she holds against Annalise for everything that she had done and shamed the department.
