The invoice sent by Mr Mesires, found on Hunter Biden’s laptop and published by the Daily Mail, showed the lawyer’s hourly rate of $US845.

On December 18, 1972, a few weeks after the election, Biden's wife Neilia and one-year-old daughter Naomi were killed in an automobile accident while Christmas shopping in Hockessin, Delaware. After a second aneurysm was surgically repaired in May, Biden's recuperation kept him away from the Senate for seven months.
