But even Ferrero admits he will probably always be known as the lawyer eaten in the worst way by a tyrannosaurus rex in 1993's Jurassic Park. Martin Victor FerreroMartin Victor Ferrero (born September 29, 1947) is an American actor. His most well known roles are Izzy Moreno in Miami Vice (1984-1989) and Donald Gennaro in the 1993 film Jurassic Park.
Because most of the samples' genomes were incomplete, geneticists needed something to, as Mr. DNA says, "fill in the holes and complete the code." This is where frog DNA came in. Frog DNA serves as both an easy, uncomplicated solution to the dinosaurs' genetic sequence and a plot device for later on in the film.
Malcolm is attacked by a Tyrannosaurus rex, which breaks his leg. Malcolm is found by employee Robert Muldoon and lawyer Donald Gennaro and taken back to one of the lodges to be looked after by park veterinarian Dr. Harding.
Gennaro is forced to join Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler in the Velociraptor nest near the end of the novel. Ultimately, he escapes the island with the other survivors. In the novel The Lost World Gennaro is mentioned of having died of dysentery while on a business trip.

They mutate, and the dinosaurs become sequential hermaphrodites, like the frogs, and can switch genders from female to male or female to hermaprodite so that they can fertilize their own eggs with their own sperm.
In the movie, scientists managed to clone dinosaurs by finding dinosaur blood within mosquitoes that had been fossilized in amber. They then used the DNA in the blood to clone the dinosaurs for their park.
In the novel Jurassic Park, Ian Malcolm says he only wears black because he believes his life is “too valuable to waste thinking about clothing.” In The films Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, he primarily wears black.
He is killed off-screen while attempting to turn the park's power back on after rebooting the entire system. We find out about his death in one of the film's great jump scares.
In the original movie, that kid wasn't ever named outright (he's credited as “Volunteer Boy”), so Pratt's character Owen Grady isn't automatically disqualified right off the bat. Additionally, the actor who portrayed that boy (Whit Hertford) is now 36 years old. Chris Pratt meanwhile is 35.
While searching for the modified Barbasol can, Nima found Dennis' body still inside his jeep and briefly investigated his death to see if it could help her find the embryos. His body was never recovered by the two and it is unknown if the InGen clean-up teams recovered his remains.

As with many Hollywood blockbusters, the Jurassic Park movie isn't entirely faithful to the novel. Spoiler alert: Donald Gennaro, the lawyer who comes to inspect the park, doesn't die in the novel, and he doesn't abandon Lex or Tim to save himself. (In fact, the bathroom scene never occurs at all).
Near the novel's beginning, we learn that Gennaro works for an investment firm called Cowan, Swain and Ross, which owns five percent of John Hammond's company, InGen. He personally helped Hammond raise the funding to start the company, and now serves as its legal counselor.
Gennaro talks with Hammond on the plane ride and recalls the time he and Hammond spent raising funds for InGen. Hammond's past presentations involved a tiny dwarf elephant that, although not itself genetically engineered, raised keen interest in Hammond's projects.
With a storm coming the group headed back in the cars to the Visitor Center but the power was shut off by Dennis Nedry and the cars stopped in front of the Tyrannosaur Paddock where Gennaro, Lex, and Tim watched in horror as the T. rex ate the goat it was supposed to eat earlier.
Rexy devours Donald. On the program tour Gennaro rides (like Ed Regis in the novel) in the same car as Hammond's grandkids Lex and Tim Murphy; he seems pretty okay having them there on the tour with him, unlike in the book where he is furious about the idea of having children there.
Donald Gennaro was a lawyer sent by Cowan, Swain & Ross to inspect Jurassic Park. He was also the general counsel for InGen. He appears in both the book and film. Although he survives in the novel, in the film he was killed by the newly-escaped Tyrannosaurus rex. Both depictions of the character are extremely different in most regards.
