Arrested Development is an American television sitcom that originally aired on the Fox network from November 2, 2003, to February 10, 2006. A fourth season of 15 episodes was released on Netflix on May 26, 2013.
Beard was news anchor at KTTV, the real-life Fox affiliate for Los Angeles, at the time the show was on Fox; during the first season on Netflix, he was working at WGRZ (an NBC affiliate) in Buffalo, New York and would commute between Buffalo and Los Angeles for filming.
Ron Howard serves as an executive producer on the show, as well as its narrator. The main characters of Arrested Development are made up of the Bluth ( / bluËθ / BLOOTH) and FĂźnke ( / ËfjuËĹkeÉŞ / FYOON-kay) families.
Lindsay Bluth-FĂźnke ( Portia de Rossi) is the adopted daughter of George Sr. and Lucille Bluth, as well as half-sister of Lucille, who raised her and Michael to believe that they were twins. She is unhappily married to Tobias and together they are the neglectful and self-absorbed parents of Maeby .
Lindsay briefly begins an affair with Taylor which is interrupted when she is shot by a tranquilizer dart. From the perspective of a group of onlookers, Taylor, who is holding his prop gun, looks like he has murdered her; he quickly carries her to a bench where he leaves her and flees the scene. On Arrested Development, Moses Taylor and his character-within-a-character Frank Wrench are played by Rob Corddry .

This episode, and the following episode " Justice Is Blind " are regarded as a two-parter, as all the storylines directly continue on from each other and nothing is resolved in Part 1. The title is a play on the term "alter ego". The word "altar" refers to the fact that G.O.B. gets married in this episode.
She was Arrested Developmentâs Frank Abagnale Jr., conning her way in and out of any situation she saw fit.
George Bluthâs left-hand man, whose lack of a right arm gave him the ability to terrify the Bluth kids and drive lessons home the right way, is what every parent needs. Weatherman also proved he still had it years later, as he taught adult Michael a lesson about trying to teach a lesson to his own son.
Steve Holt! Yes, âArrested Developmentâ faithful, Steve Holt . Gobâs illegitimate son, four-year high school senior and football star, Steve Holt is the man. He lets everyone know that by shouting, âSteve Holt!â constantly. What makes the character great is that heâs generally a nice guy, but heâs just kinda dumb.
Lucille may have been cheated on by her husband and loathed by her children, but she was the supreme overlord of the family. Not only was she a savage by continually nailing her husbandâs twin brother, she drank his mistress completely under the table and then checked herself back into rehab.
24. âForget-Me-Nowâ. Yes, itâs unfortunate that âArrested Developmentâ cast Scott Baio in the role of the Bluthâs new attorney. However, at the time he wasnât such a problematic figure. Also, the joke was that he was replacing the lawyer played by Henry Winkler, much in the way Chachi âreplacedâ The Fonz on âHappy Days.â.
âArrested Developmentâ had one of the more interesting runs as a TV show. At first, it was a cultishly-adored FOX show, but it didnât enough attention to last more than three seasons, and it barely got a third season. However, its popularity proved unexpected, and the cult only built. This led âArrested Developmentâ to become the first show rebooted by Netflix. ThatâŚdidnât go great. Even diehard fans werenât wild about the Netflix years, but there were a few worthwhile episodes. This is the story of a family and the 25 best episodes about them. Itâs an âArrested Developmentâ ranking.
