The ACLU is now a nationwide organization with a 50-state network of staffed affiliate offices filing cases in both state and federal courts. We appear before the Supreme Court more than any other organization except the Department of Justice. In addition, we work to change policy as well as hearts and minds.
Rose completed her Bachelor's degree at Stanford University in 1983. She earned an Master's at the London School of Economics in 1985. Law started her career as a reporter for United Press International and The Des Moines Register.
Rose worked as an attorney at Hill and Barlow from 1997. She specialized in First Amendment law and intellectual property. She served as co-chair of the Women in Communications Law for the American Bar Association Forum.
