Personal injury attorney Brian Loncar, known across Texas for his series of "Strong Arm" commercials, died last month due to an accidental cocaine overdose, according to a medical examiner's report obtained by The Dallas Morning News.
The medical examiner has not yet confirmed the cause of death. The Loncar family just suffered the loss of their youngest daughter, Grace.
The youngest of Brian and Sue Loncar's six children, 16-year-old Grace took her own life on November 25 after a prolonged battle with depression. Her funeral was held on December 2, according to her obituary.
He was then admitted to the Texas Bar, and founded Brian Loncar & Associates in 1988. The firm was initially just himself, but he grew the business, and at the time of his death he was operating 11 offices across Texas.
Three days later, Brian Loncar was found dead in his office. The coroner ruled his death an accidental cocaine overdose. The family believes he died of a broken heart. Loncar said losing Grace produced not only sadness, but also anger and questions.
Mr. Loncar, a plaintiff's personal injury attorney famous for his advertisements as “The Strong Arm,” was found dead at his law office in downtown Dallas. An estate battle broke out over the ownership of Mr. Loncar's multimillion-dollar firm, Loncar & Associates.
Sue Loncar did just that in late 2016 when she lost her 16-year-old daughter, Grace, to suicide, then about a week later, lost the teen's dad, a prominent Dallas personal-injury lawyer, after an accidental cocaine overdose.

The media painted his death as being caused by a broken heart over his daughter’s tragic suicide a week earlier.
She had threatened it previously and was receiving treatment at the time of her death. Brian found her body, and it was confirmed that she had shot herself with one of the hunting guns that he had failed to secure properly after a recent hunting trip.
Loncar's death was primarily due to the toxic effects of cocaine, but a secondary factor was hypertensive and atherosclerotic heart disease, according to the Dallas County medical examiner's office.
