Karen was on the receiving end of romantic interest from both men but her interest soon centered on Murdock, who mistook her growing love for pity. Her relationship with Matt Murdock was a happy one that included a lot of mutual heartache.
History. Shortly after returning to San Francisco, Matt Murdock became the mayor of the city and got married. Matt ultimately retired from his super hero career as Daredevil after his son Jackie was born.
He co-founded the law firm Nelson and Murdock with his best friend and worked on cases with a passion for getting justice for the innocent including Karen Page and Elena Cardenas. Nelson remained loyal to Murdock even after discovering that Murdock had been living a secret life as a masked vigilante known as Daredevil.

In order to get Fisk out of Ryker's Island, Donovan had then arranged payments for Jasper Evans to attack Fisk, so the FBI would have him then moved into the Presidential Hotel instead, with Donovan making his several demands to Ray Nadeem for the deal, much to Nadeem's annoyance. However, during their transport, Fisk was attacked by the Albanian Syndicate, narrowly escaping with his life. Donovan and Lee found Fisk inside the hotel, explaining that they were his lawyers, while Benjamin Poindexter then ordered them to stay away. However, Fisk demanded that Donovan find Marianna and ensure her safety.
Donovan continued his work to try and get Fisk freed, meeting him at Ryker's where Fisk ordered Donovan to assist with Stewart Finney 's legal case and pay the rent on the Andrea Valdez ' home. Despite all Donovan's objections as he had previously advised Fisk not to get involved with any criminal activity within the prison in order to avoid any unwanted attention, but Fisk then ordered him to get it done and ensure that the transactions were untraceable. Despite his reluctance for Fisk to do this sort of work once again, Donovan still got the tasks completed as he was instructed as quickly as possible for Fisk.
As it soon turned out, Tilda Johnson 's visit was her way to get close to Mariah Dillard in order to kiss her with poisoned lips, resulting in Dillard dying a painful death inside of Ryker's Island. As her lawyer, Donovan was tasked with arranging Dillard's will, as he collected those who were mentioned in it, paying a visit to Pop's Barber Shop where Donovan found Luke Cage, while Cage was with Sugar and Dave Griffith and told him that they needed to talk, with Cage insisting that he would not speak with Donovan at the Barber Shop.
Finally, Fisk ordered Donovan to pay off one of the guards at Ryker's Island in order that he could bring Frank Castle to Ryker's. Donovan had another meeting with Fisk to move his final funds to bribe all the guards into joining his side, although Donovan warned that any other money he would need would now be taken from Vanessa Marianna 's protection, Fisk, however, assured Donovan that he would not need any more money after this was completed. Donovan then asked if he wanted to know what the Punisher would be doing but Fisk still did not answer, noting that Donovan likely did not want to know.

Having grown up in New York City, Benjamin Donovan had been put through law school through the financial assistance of Mama Mabel, allowing him to become a successful lawyer. Due to Mabel's help in gaining his law degree, Donovan then became loyal to the Stokes Crime Family, willing to represent them in the court of law, despite knowing full well that they were a family of criminals who were all guilty of almost every crime which he was legally defending them for.
On November 10, 2004, D'Onofrio collapsed on the set of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He collapsed again at home a few days later, and was later diagnosed with exhaustion. His exhaustion was attributed to his 14-hour days filming Criminal Intent, and the making of his short film Five Minutes, Mr. Welles during the show's hiatus.
In 1986, D'Onofrio took on the role often considered the defining moment in his acting career, as Pvt. Leonard Lawrence, an overweight, clumsy Marine recruit in the movie Full Metal Jacket. On a tip from friend Matthew Modine, D'Onofrio was urged to send audition tapes to director Stanley Kubrick, in England.

When Punisher is sent to Ryker's Island, Wilson Fisk manipulates Punisher into killing a rival inmate and later orchestrates Punisher's escape.
Turk Barrett (portrayed by Rob Morgan) is a small-time criminal working for Wilson Fisk whom Daredevil beats for information.

Mitchell Ellison (portrayed by Geoffrey Cantor) is the Editor-in-Chief of the New York Bulletin and Ben Urich's boss. In the first season, does not believe Urich's findings on Wilson Fisk's illegal activities. By the second season, Ellison helps Karen Page with info revolving around Punisher and Blacksmith and eventually offers Karen a job at the New York Bulletin. Christian Blake (portrayed by Chris Tardio) is a corrupt detective with the New York City Police Department's 15th Precinct who is secretly in the employ of Wilson Fisk, and is partnered with Carl Hoffman. After Daredevil attacks him and grabs his phone, obtaining crucial information, Fisk arranges for Blake to be shot by an ESU sniper outside the scene of a standoff, along with two other officers. Blake survives and Fisk subsequently has Hoffman kill Blake by injecting a poison into his IV line. Hoffman's subsequent guilt over Blake's death leads him to turn against Fisk and snitch on him to the FBI.
Stan Gibson (portrayed by John Pirkis) is a Roxxon Energy Corporation accountant blackmailed by the Hand through their kidnapping of his son. Stan leads Daredevil to the Farm, a drug factory which also turns children into Hand members. Daredevil rescues his son and Gibson, his son, and the children to Metro-General Hospital. Gibson is killed by his son with a scalpel.
Wilson Fisk began his life as a poor child in New York City, bullied by his classmates due to his obesity. Fisk began training himself in physical combat, using his new-found strength to form a gang of his former tormentors that terrorized the surrounding neighborhoods. He was eventually discovered by mob boss Don Rigoletto, who hired him as a bodyguard, and Fisk worked his way up until he became Rigoletto's right-hand man. He then turned on his mentor, eliminating him and taking control of his men and business interests, before expanding his new empire until he had become one of the most powerful figures in New York's criminal underworld, earning the name "Kingpin".
Wilson Fisk / Kingpin appears in the 2003 live-action feature film Daredevil, portrayed by Michael Clarke Duncan. When Duncan was cast, he weighed 290 pounds, and was asked to gain 40 pounds for the role in order to fit the Kingpin's physique.
Finally, Murdock sacrifices the deal, refusing to let Bullseye (who was also incarcerated) leave the prison as the Kingpin had planned. The fight ends with the Kingpin shot point-blank in the knee by gunfire from Bullseye intended for Murdock, while Murdock escapes.
Fisk later rehires Bullseye to look into the parties responsible for a major drug war in New York and survives an assassination attempt by Crossbones. In retaliation, he sends Bullseye to assassinate the Red Skull (Crossbones's employer). The attempt fails, and the Kingpin instead defeats the Red Skull (in a clone of Captain America's body) in personal combat.
Fisk returns to Japan, regains his sanity, and focuses on rebuilding his empire while fighting the X-Men. He returns to New York and resumes his criminal activities as Kingpin.
The Kingpin and Lady Bullseye later perform a ritual that brings back Ghost Rider to attack the Hand.
Hawkeye 's Kingpin, real name Wilson Fisk, has been officially confirmed as actor Vincent D'Onofrio.
That much we don't know for sure. While Kingpin is certainly played by the same actor here, Marvel Studios could simply say that everything that took place in Netflix's Marvel-verse was a "variant" of Fisk, and Daredevil, etc, took place in another universe.

Believing Daredevil to be responsible for her father's murder, Elektra attempts to avenge her father by killing him. Meanwhile, Fisk assigns Bullseye to kill Elektra. Elektra tracks Daredevil down and challenges him to a fight, and incapacitates him by stabbing him through the shoulder. Daredevil protests that he didn't kill her father, but Elektra doesn't believe him until she forcibly unmasks him and realizes that he's Matt. Moments later, when Bullseye tracks Elektra down, Matt is forced to watch helplessly as Bullseye kills her.

Unable to use a PTSD defense from Castle's time at war—Castle believes it would be disrespectful to real PTSD-suffering war veterans—Nelson instead focuses on Castle's family being failed by the justice system. Murdock works with Page in preparing to cross-examine the chief medical examiner, who likely doctored the Castle family death certificates for Reyes, but before he can do so in court the man confesses; he had been tortured the night before into revealing the truth. Murdock realizes that Natchios had overheard him and Page and attempted to 'help', and reveals his involvement with her to Nelson. With the examiner's testimony now invalid, Nelson's relationship with Murdock fractures. Murdock confronts Natchios, who agrees to stay away from the trial, before joining her in searching an abandoned building site from which the Yakuza ledger revealed shipments of dirt. Inside they find a giant hole.
The one-take fight in "New York's Finest" in which Daredevil fights gang members down a staircase was described by Cox as "kind of like an homage" to the first season's well received one-take hallway fight scene, and "almost like that scene on crack".
Finn Cooley, a high-profile member of the Irish Mob whose son was killed by the Punisher, arrives in New York seeking revenge, and tracks the dog Punisher took to his apartment, where he realizes who the Punisher is. Page begins investigating the Punisher herself, using files slipped to her by assistant DA Blake Tower. She learns that he is Frank Castle, once a husband and father who was hospitalized with a bullet in his head. Barely surviving, Castle escaped an apparent cover up of some kind, potentially of Reyes's doing. The Irish confront Castle at a family carousel and take him hostage. Cooley violently tortures him, until Castle escapes and brutally murders Cooley and several of the other Irish. Daredevil finds them and stops Castle from murdering anyone else, helping him escape. Castle tells Daredevil about his family, who were murdered, before allowing himself to be arrested, with Daredevil giving credit for his capture to Sergeant Brett Mahoney in hopes of restoring the public's faith in the police rather than in vigilante justice.
March 18, 2016. ( 2016-03-18) Daredevil saves Temple from the Hand, but the children willingly leave with the ninjas and drain themselves of their blood to feed the chemicals into an ancient device. Some of the Hand died during the fight, and an attempted autopsy on one of them shows the scars of a prior autopsy.
