Here Are All The New Characters From "13 Reasons Why" Season 2 Anne Winters as Chloe Chelsea Alden as Mackenzie Bryce Cass as Cyrus Kelli O’Hara as Jackie Samantha Logan as Nina Allison Miller as Sonya Ben Lawson as Rick Jake Weber and Brenda Strong as Barry and Nora Meredith Monroe as Carolyn R.J. Brown as Caleb
Sonya Struhl is a recurring character who appears in the second season of 13 Reasons Why. She is portrayed by Allison Miller. Sonya is a smart and ambitious young litigator. She replaced Lainie Jensen as litigator for the school in the Andrew and Olivia Baker vs The Evergreen County School District.
Young actor Brand Flynn appeared on CBS series Braindead before bagging one of the key roles on 13 Reasons Why. He’s since landed a role in the third season of True Detective.
She is portrayed by Allison Miller. She replaced Lainie Jensen as litigator for the school in the Andrew and Olivia Baker vs The Evergreen County School District . Through the season, Sonya defended the school during the Andrew and Olivia Baker vs The Evergreen County School District trial.
Seasons. Dennis Vasquez is a recurring character on 13 Reasons Why. He is portrayed by Wilson Cruz. Dennis was the Baker's attorney in their trial.
During the third season of "13 Reasons Why," Tony is faced with the realization that his family has been abruptly deported from the US. It is revealed that when he testified in the Hannah Baker case, Bryce Walker's family dug into his past and discovered that his family was not legally in the US.
She leaves the Bakers' residence after Sarah Carlin's testimony about Hannah bullying her at their previous school.
Caitlin is revealed to be his 12-year-old daughter, Bryce's half-sister, from a secret affair. Nora calms Bryce down and tells him that they have to move on and that they must be done being controlled by Barry. In another flashback, Tony's family was taken by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
Tony has a crush on Clay and we're 100% here for #Clony. It would explain a lot, mainly why he decides to spend SO MUCH TIME looking after Clay. Sure, he needed looking after, that's in no doubt. Justin, Marcus and co.
Tony lied, saying Hannah didn't leave a note for him. His arrests for assault got brought up. A flashback showed Tony beat up Lucas after he called him and Ryan homophobic terms. Tony had gone to the Baker's house, where he revealed that the reason Hannah gave him the tapes was that he owed her.
Sarah Carlin is a teenager who testifies on the side of the school and against the Baker's. She went to high school with Hannah Baker before Hannah went to Liberty High. In "Smile, Bitches", it is revealed that in her high school, Ridgeview High, she was bullied by Hannah Baker, Lindsay Patterson and Alicia Morris.
This is where Ani stripped and Clay sees the underwear found in Bryce's bedroom. Clay notices scratches on Justin's back while he takes off his shirt. Justin says the scratches are from his game when they are actually from him and Jessica having rough sex.
The show implies that Justin wouldn't know about The Clubhouse because he wasn't on the baseball team, but student body president Marcus Cole has partied in there, and he's not on the team either. Plus, plenty of girls from the high school have frequented the room.
Episode 7. Parents and caregivers need to know: Clay is brought in for questioning by the police who tell him they have proof that Ani & Bryce were more than just friends. This contradicts both Ani and Clay's testimony. In flashback we see Ani kiss Bryce, and she initiates sex on more than one occasion.
Near the end of Season 3, after Clay's arrest, Ani tells Jessica that the worst thing she's ever done was sleeping with Jessica's rapist, Bryce, and asks what's the worst thing Jessica has ever done.
The Swahili word that Ani says to Clay is "nakupenda," which translates as "I love you." Ani is introduced as a new student at Liberty High, whose mother lives and works as a homecare worker with Bryce's family.
Chelsea Alden as Mackenzie. Chelsea is an artsy, witty type unafraid to speak her mind. Alden appeared on American Horror Story: Roanoke last year. This content is imported from Instagram. Samantha Logan as Nina. Nina is a respected track star with a secret that's bound to cause trouble in season two. Samantha has appeared on MTV’s Teen Wolf and Freeform’s The Fosters among others. Getty Images.
Barry and Nora are Bryce's parents. They were leaders in their community, but that could all change once Bryce begins facing the consequences of raping Jess in season one. The actors that play them, Jake and Brenda, are industry vets.
Kelli O’Hara as Jackie. Jackie is a warm, intelligent, passionate advocate for victims of bullying. Kelli is a Broadway star who won a Tony for The King and I in 2015. She's also appeared in CBS All Access’s The Good Fight.
Caleb is Tony's boxing trainer. He's a fierce competitor inside the ring, but the funniest guy in the room outside of it. You might recognize R.J. Brown because he played Thomas White on The Carrie Diaries.
Through the season, Sonya defended the school during the Andrew and Olivia Baker vs The Evergreen County School District trial. She revealed and made testifiers reveal a lot of information about Hannah and the testifiers themselves, like Mr. Baker's affair and Zach and Hannah's relationship. She was able to convince the jury that the school was not responsible for Hannah's death.

The end of season two opens a huge (terrifying) door for Tyler's story. He has an arsenal of weapons and is possibly planning an attack on his school. I want to know more about how Tyler perceives his peers, especially after that chilling scene in the darkroom. It makes a lot of sense that he would be the focus of season two.
Tony, aka Clay's guardian angel, is such a mystery. We know precious little about his family life or his interaction with Hannah. He's much more of an impartial observer during season one than an actual participant. Season two could explore not only his take on Hannah's life and death, but what happens to him going forward. It would round out his life the way we've already gotten to know characters like Clay and Jessica.
