In an effort to recognize the impactful contributions of some extraordinary individuals, Beekmantown CSD has established a Hall of Fame. In this, its inaugural year, the district received many nominations and ultimately selected ten students, coaches, administrators and teachers to represent what it means to exhibit Eagle Pride.
Beekmantown CSD recently completed an Energy Performance Contract (EPC) with the Siemens Corporation which brought many critical improvements to our infrastructure. After the conclusion of year one of this EPC, the district exceeded the guaranteed savings by $23,463, or 5% .
The Every Student Succeeds Act, or ESSA, the main federal law for K-12 public education, requires that states hold public schools accountable for how students achieve. New York State established a set of indicators to measure school and district performance.

The purpose of the Beekmantown Central School District Hall of Fame is to recognize amazing contributions and/or achievements within our schools and to make all students and parents aware that such achievement is possible at the Beekmantown Central School District.
Nominees must exemplify the highest standards of ethical conduct and moral character. All candidates will be judged on their significant and/or long-term contributions to the Beekmantown Central School District.
A nomination for induction into the Beekmantown Central School District Hall of Fame may be submitted to the Hall of Fame Selection Committee by current faculty, administration, staff, members of the Beekmantown Booster Club, alumni, by the media or by the general public. Nominees must be 10 years or more post graduation or post retirement.
Beekmantown Hall of Fame Committee Members will meet in person or virtually at a time determined by the chairperson to review, discuss, nominate and select candidates.
There shall not be a minimum number of selections. To become a member of the Beekmantown Central School District Hall of Fame nominees will need 75% of the Committee members voting in favor of the application. This requirement can be waived during the inaugural year of 2021.
Induction will be during Alumni/Homecoming weekend during the fall sports season on October 1st, 2021.
First Meeting: The Selection Committee shall review candidates based on information available at the time of the meeting. After the discussion, every selection committee member may vote for up to 10 nominees (each vote carries equal weight). The nominees with the 20 highest point totals will become finalists.
