On Thursday's episode, titled "With These Hands," Bull (Michael Weatherly) finds himself in an unfamiliar position when he takes a passive role in court during a medical malpractice suit, when he helps the surgeon who saved his life after his heart attack, but must defer to her attorney (guest star Peter Jacobson) on ...
Eliza recalled how she was "aggressively" pursued by CBS in 2017 to become the co-lead in Bull, with a role that was designed with her specifically in mind. The Bring It On star was promised a "six-year" contract to play her character J.P. Nunnelly, a criminal defense lawyer.
Portrayed by Freddy Rodriguez, Benny Colon portrayed Bull's TAC lead attorney for the TAC since the series premiered in 2016.
In 2016, Dushku had a recurring role in Season 1 of “Bull” that was meant to become a regular role, but she alleges that she was fired from the show after accusing star Michael Weatherly of sexual harassment. She received a $9.5 million settlement from CBS, the Boston Globe reported in 2018.
In 2019, Dushku explained to Boston Magazine that she loves being back at school at Lesley University, where she's working towards a degree in holistic psychology, a field she chose because she wants to be able to help others.

Why did Freedy Rodriguez leave Bull? Benny's storyline in Season 6 was dictated by some behind-the-scenes drama. This is a series that has had a messy history when it comes to workplace conduct, and during the Season 5-6 hiatus, we learned that Rodriguez was the next one to face misconduct allegations.
Early in Season 5, it was revealed that Benny was being courted to run for DA, and in success, Chunk would take over his role at TAC. In fact, in the season finale, Benny resigned — only to return to Bull's team in the end. But Benny's heart, and not any political ambitions, would take him from TAC in the end.
In an announcement posted to Twitter on Tuesday, Weatherly said, "I've decided it's time to pursue new creative challenges and bring [Dr. Jason Bull's] story to a close." The series was inspired by Dr. Phil McGraw's early career as a trial specialist.
Annabelle Attanasio left Bull to direct a movie "Sadly, the film conflicts with my role as Cable on 'Bull. ' CBS and the show's producers have graciously allowed me to leave the series so I can pursue this extraordinary opportunity." The young actress also stated that she would miss playing the role of Cable.
Weatherly was accused by fellow “Bull” actor Eliza Dushku of sexual harassment during her brief time on the series in its second season. CBS ultimately paid Dushku a settlement of $9.5 million, after she was let go for what Dushku said was retaliation after she complained about Weatherly's behavior.

Eliza alleges she was “fired in silence” from Bull after making harassment allegations about a co-star.
Eliza Dushku is a 40-year-old American actress and producer from Boston, Massachusetts. The daughter of Philip Richard George Dushku and Judy Dushku has been married to businessman Peter Palandijan since 2018. The couple have two sons, Philip Bourne and Bodan.
Dusku also claims she specifically asked her co-star to be her “ally on set” and “tone down some of the sexualized comments directed at me, especially since he set the tone at the workplace.”
Meanwhile, Weatherly apologized in a statement of his own to the New York Times in 2018, but maintained he did not get Dushku — who received a $9.5 million settlement from the network — fired from the show.
She said she was then written off of the show out of retaliation.
The story says that Dushku, who complained about feeling "violated" on the set of the series, received a $9.5 million payout.
Dushku later entered mediation with CBS rather than pursuing a lawsuit. According to the Times report, a CBS lawyer offered outtakes from her "Bull" episodes in an effort to disprove or downplay Dushku's claims but they ended up supporting her claim because they "actually captured some of the harassment on film.".
