The settlement marks the end of a four-year battle between Hogan and Gawker, which published clips of a sex tape featuring the celebrity in 2012. The initial lawsuit was filed on October 15 by Hogan, who claimed he had consensual sex six years ago with Heather Clem. He was married at the time, but claimed to have already suffered from marital issues with his then-wife, Linda. At that time, Bubba Clem offered the romp to his best bud.
