Adopted brother of Wakanda's King T'Challa and the leader of the Wakandan Secret Police, the Hatut Zeraze, Hunter, is an expert tracker and nicknamed the White Wolf.
Once Hinton drew a prophecy involving Fitz himself, Enoch agreed to help him travel into the future. To that end, Fitz and Hunter stole a Cryo-Freeze Chamber from Blue Raven Ridge, so that Fitz could remain in suspended animation for 74 years, waiting to be awakened in 2091 to rescue his friends.
During the final battle against a gravitonium-enhanced Glenn Talbot, Fitz is buried under a rubble and later found fatally injured when dug out by fellow agents Melinda May and Mack where he succumbs to his wounds. Simmons resolves to find the present version of Fitz, who is in stasis aboard Enoch's ship.
Eventually, Fitz was reunited with his team after traveling between timelines through the Quantum Realm, and took part in the final victory against Sibyl. He and Simmons then retired from S.H.I.E.L.D. so they could raise their daughter and live a peaceful life.
She has gained certain abilities like: Super-Strength: Jemma has been shown capable of breaking down metal doors and swiftly knocking down S.H.I.E.L.D. agents with one arm.
Simmons tearfully tells him she didn't leave because she thought he was useless but doesn't elaborate and leaves the room. She eventually tells Mack the reason she left was because her presence only made Fitz's condition worsen and she was trying to help him get better.
Agents of SHIELD had its fair share of surprises, but Jenna Simmons deciding to join the enemy for totally unexpected reasons takes the cake.Jan 2, 2022
Now that we’ve seen Fitts’ Law applied in a simple setting, let’s see the nuts and bolts of the law. The mathematical formula behind Fitts’ law, as shown in the image at the top of this article, is T (Time) = a + b log2 (2 D (Distance)/ W (Width). Let’s take a closer look at that: 1 Time is the amount of time that it will take the user to complete his or her movement. 2 a + b: These are a little more complex. They’re “regression coefficients”, which means that we find these by observing the slope of the object. 3 Distance, as you might expect, is the distance between the user’s starting point and his or her end point (the target). 4 Width is the width of the target object.
The law is particularly important in visual interface design—or any interface involving pointing (by finger or mouse, etc.): we use it to assess the appropriate sizes of interactive elements according to the context of use and highlight potential design usability problems.
What is Fitts’ Law? Fitts’ law states that the amount of time required for a person to move a pointer (e.g., mouse cursor) to a target area is a function of the distance to the target divided by the size of the target. Thus, the longer the distance and the smaller the target’s size, the longer it takes.
In 1954, psychologist Paul Fitts , examining the human motor system, showed that the time required to move to a target depends on the distance to it, yet relates inversely to its size. By his law, fast movements and small targets result in greater error rates, due to the speed-accuracy trade-off.
If you’ve followed all this so far, you’re probably thinking, well… that means “bigger is better” right? Actually, no: this is a law about usability. While “so tiny I can’t see it” is clearly not very good, and “bigger than that” is better… there comes a point when increasing the size of an option makes it only a tiny bit more usable. This is something web designers should be grateful for; otherwise, all their web pages would have to consist of a single giant button for the user to press (in order for it to be “usable”, and users would likely find this primitive and very dull).
That would be the “ prime pixel ” – the point from which the user will carry out all of his or her actions while on your page. If we could determine this “prime pixel” for our user, we could then adapt our design to the user – e.g., we could create the shortest path to the actions we expect the user to take.
Psychologist Paul Fitts (1912-1965) published his theory on “human mechanics and aimed movement” in 1954. He had seen that the action of pointing at or tapping on a target object could be predicted using mathematics and that it could be measured.
Early life and education. Catherine Austin Fitts was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania . She earned a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating, she briefly worked as a bartender until one of her customers, who was director of admissions at The Wharton School, encouraged her to pursue graduate studies.
In 1993, Hamilton Securities won a contract with HUD to manage its $500 billion investment portfolio. While managing HUD 's portfolio, Fitts devised a streamlined mortgage selling software program – Community Wizard – that some have claimed saved the department several hundreds of millions of dollars.
i have been working with him nearly 4 years on my case. He doesnt back down and he has never given up. People like me that get injured and dont know what to do need help. As we navigate through my case he explains each step and makes it a whole lot less intimidating for me. Thank You
Nick is an excellent Work Comp attorney. Nick is not afarid to take on the insurance company on a disputed claim.. Nick will get the full value for your case or go to trial, The claim was denied. Nick took the case to trial and was awarded more than what he had made a demand for prior to trial.
Mr. Fitz exceeded my expectations of him when I began my workers compensation case. I felt very comfortable with him from the very first time that we spoke on the phone. He kept me in the loop during each phase of my case. Every step of the way if you don't understand something he makes sure you understand before you make a decision.
I am a Union Electrician and I hired Attorney Fitz to handle my workers’ compensation claim when my surgery was denied by the employer and the insurance company. He filed a motion for trial and I got approval for my surgery on the date of trial, also on the date of trial all my back pay money from worker’s compensation was approved and sent to me.
Received 3 times what I had expected. Was Very Knowledgeable to my needs and my case. Kept me very well informed. Would recommend him to anyone of my friend and family.
My experience with Mr. Fitz was excellent! He always kept my benefits coming on time from the insurance company and kept me informed about my case from the day I got hurt. He always returned my calls and made the entire process of hiring an attorney a positive experience.
Fitts's law (often cited as Fitts' law) is a predictive model of human movement primarily used in human–computer interaction and ergonomics. This scientific law predicts that the time required to rapidly move to a target area is a function of the ratio between the distance to the target and the width of the target. Fitts's law is used to modelthe act of pointing, either by physically touching an object …
A movement during a single Fitts's law task can be split into two phases:
• initial movement. A fast but imprecise movement towards the target
• final movement. Slower but more precise movement in order to acquire the target
The first phase is defined by the distance to the target. In this phase the distance can be closed …
The formulation of Fitts's index of difficulty most frequently used in the human–computer interaction community is called the Shannon formulation:
This form was proposed by Scott MacKenzie, professor at York University, and named for its resemblance to the Shannon–Hartley theorem. It describes the transmission of information using bandwidth, signal strength and noise. In Fitts's law, the distance represents signal strength, whil…
An important improvement to Fitts's law was proposed by Crossman in 1956 (see Welford, 1968, pp. 147–148) and used by Fitts in his 1964 paper with Peterson. With the adjustment, target width (W) is replaced by an effective target width (We). We is computed from the standard deviation in the selection coordinates gathered over a sequence of trials for a particular D-W condition. If the selections are logged as x coordinates along the axis of approach to the target, then
Not long after the original model was proposed, a 2-factor variation was proposed under the intuition that target distance and width have separate effects on movement time. Welford's model, proposed in 1968, separated the influence of target distance and width into separate terms, and provided improved predictive power:
This model has an additional parameter, so its predictive accuracy cannot be directly compared …
Fitts's law deals only with targets defined in space. However, a target can be defined purely on the time axis, which is called a temporal target. A blinking target or a target moving toward a selection area are examples of temporal targets. Similar to space, the distance to the target (i.e., temporal distance Dt) and the width of the target (i.e., temporal width Wt) can be defined for temporal targets as well. The temporal distance is the amount of time a person must wait for a target to a…
