First, another Iron Fist, Orson Randall, still lived. Randall passed the Book of the Iron Fist on to Danny then sacrificed himself to give Danny a power boost after Davos nearly killed the older warrior. Danny then learned that the Iron Fist acted as one of many Immortal Weapons.
Danny Rand / Iron Fist (portrayed by Finn Jones) is a billionaire Buddhist monk and martial artist proficient in kung-fu, with the ability to call upon the mystical power of the Iron Fist.
There are spoilers for Iron Fist ahead, so don't read on unless you want to learn the secrets of Danny's father. At first, all we know about Wendell is that he died in a plane crash along with Danny's mother. He and Harold Meachum were in business together, and the Meachum family took over Rand Corporation when he died.

Jeri was an evil, queer character, but she was never an “evil queer” character. That's because Jeri's queerness is never the source of her evil; wealth is.
Carrie-Anne Moss has joined the streaming service's forthcoming Marvel's Iron Fist, playing her Jessica Jones character, lawyer Jeri Hogarth.
Unfortunately for Jeri, it's the latter — meaning that she hasn't actually been cured of her ALS. Everyone in Jessica Jones has been dealing with weird stuff so frequently, that Jeri didn't even consider that the person who is claiming to have healing powers may be lying.
Throughout the third season of Jessica Jones, Trish goes from being a vigilante hero to a self-described villain.

Hogarth goes to Wendy Ross-Hogarth Instead of taking Kilgrave to Metro-General Hospital, Hogarth took the chance to end her divorce proceedings by taking him instead to the home of Wendy Ross-Hogarth who Kilgrave took control over immediately.
Hogarth is one of the pieces of connective tissue in the Netflix corner of Marvel Television, having appeared in The Defenders and Iron Fist. Her character has also established a connection to Daredevil, as Foggy Nelson joined her law firm after the events of Daredevil Season 2.
A lot of heartbreaking things have happened over the first two seasons of Jessica Jones, and oddly one that really tugged on my heartstrings was when Jeri Hogarth was diagnosed with ALS, a disease for which there is no known cure.
He buys it from them for twice what it's worth and puts the neighbors to work, finding replications of all the house's items he's seen in old pictures. Kilgrave then convinces Jessica to live in the house. Being in the house is difficult for her anyway; it's where her family lived, but her family's all gone now.
Jessica boasts super human strength and durability. She has the power of flight, though she's never mastered the ability and rarely uses it.
The series stars Finn Jones as Danny Rand / Iron Fist, with Jessica Henwick, Tom Pelphrey, Jessica Stroup, and Sacha Dhawan also starring. They are joined by RamĂłn RodrĂguez, Rosario Dawson and David Wenham in the first season, with Simone Missick and Alice Eve starring in the second.
