The ultimate super kid scenario did bring a little bit of laughter yet it’s alright. ‘Daddy lawyer, mummy lawyer, uncle lawyer and I wanna be a lawyer so My playground is the courthouse, my friends are lawyers and judges’. It reminded me of a certain family I was acquainted with and such kids do exist in real world.

The antagonists in the story is Omar Cheepe and Pete Duffy. Omar Cheepe is a manipulating and cunning villain who will do whatever it takes to win the case.
Theodore's friend and classmate April is in the middle of a custody battle but doesn't want to live with either parent. Theodore tries to comfort April and explain divorce custody laws to her. Theodore explains the law not only to April, but also to many of his classmates.
The main characters in this book are Theodore Boone, Ike Boone, Woods Boone, Judge Gantry, Pete Duffy, Julio and his cousin Bobby. Pete Duffy and Judge Gantry are the ones who are part of the trial, while the others have information for the trial.
Mary Strattenburg is a fictitious city in Pennsylvania.

Climax- Julio's cousin, Bobby, witnessed Mr. Duffy murder his wife. Falling action- Bobby decides to tell Theodore about what he saw but does not want to tell the Judge because he is an immigrant and Theodore tells in uncle Ike and asks for advice.
The theme for this book would be responsibility. This book's theme is responsibility because April's parents did not take much of it while her best friend, Theodore, took responibility in trying to look for her. The genre of this book is mystery, which would be a "puzzling crime".
This is a terrific series for middle schoolers or elementary school kids with an advanced reading level. The content is pretty mature. Theodore Boone, the first book, is about a murder trial and the suspect is a slimy man suspected of killing his wife. But no more violent than most other books in this age group.

Oh my gods, kids, Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer is about 250 out of 263 pages of telling. I felt like I was slogging through half this book. I was so bored.

Take a chance, it's a quick read and even better listen once you get used to British narrator. Characters. Theodore Boone : A thirteen-year old boy who dreams of being a lawyer one day. He's loves Government class at his school with Mr. Mount, and he enjoys playing golf with his father.
Unfortunately, the caper in this novel was… not a good one. Theo’s mid-size town is experiencing its first murder trial in recent memory, and though everyone thinks the accused is guilty of murdering his wife, the prosecution has a thin case based only on circumstantial evidence (oh yes, no worries, Theo defines that for us). Mid-story, Theo becomes privy to evidence that’s sure to sway the verdict, and he has to figure out what to do.
Well, the title is a little misleading, wonderkid Theodore Boone is not a licensed lawyer. Both of his parents are however legit and successful attorneys-at-law. TB loves the law and will one day be a damn good lawyer, he is 13 years old and an eighth grade student in this series.
Theo has a hatred for April’s parents because they treat April poorly. “He despised her parents for the way they treated her. He despised them for the chaos of their lives, for their neglect of April, for their cruelty to her.”
Theodore Boone is the son of two well-respected lawyers in the town of Strattenburg. He aspires to be a lawyer himself. In fact, he prides himself on providing legal advice to classmates, and even some adults. But when a murder is committed and the trial commences in the otherwise peaceful town, Theo discovers that there is a witness to the crime that no one knows about. But the witness, an illegal immigrant, is hesitant to come forward. Theo must decide how to carefully work around the delicate issue that could result in someone getting away with murder.
Theo Boone uses his knowledge of the law to help both schoolmates and the police. Theo’s mom and dad are both supportive parents and honest lawyers. The judge in the trial is good and fair. Violence. The central story involves a husband charged with strangling his wife.

He was considered a slob at the Boone & Boone firm because of his untidiness in his office. April Finnemore: Theo's best friend. April had gone through some rough times. Both parents filed for a divorce, and she had to choose which one she was going to live with.
