France is very expensive. Much more than USA. But Salaries are very low. I don't know if you are allow to practise in France as an attorney with your US degrees. In fact I am afraid not. A french attorney cannot practise in the USA so I doubt France permit US attorneys to practise in France.

If you pass this exam (you can take it only 3 times and it is quite expensive) you will be admitted to the French bar as an "avocat au barreau de...". Thanks to this special exam, you won't have to study for a year and a half at a Bar school and can practice directly as an avocat.
