I will say that The Lincoln Lawyer is worth watching because its twists and turns never seem entirely implausible or wholly based on coincidence. And this isn't “The Killing” where the mystery will drag on and on through future seasons.

It was Connelly who created the character of the so-called “Lincoln lawyer” Mickey Haller in his eponymous 2005 novel, a Los Angeles defence attorney who acquired his nickname after his propensity to conduct his legal business from the back seat of a chauffeur-driven Lincoln Town Car.
With both characters living in Los Angeles and working criminal cases, their professional lives would seem almost bound to intersect at some point. In addition, within the novels, the two characters do interact – with Harry Bosch showing up in The Lincoln Lawyer book series from time to time and vice versa.
