Nov 04, 2021 ¡ Now, with season 11 officially underway, it seems Larry has abandoned BMW in favor of rival Audi, as he can be seen driving the new e-tron Sportback crossover, which is of course fully electric ...
Of course, everyone in California seemingly drives some sort of hybrid or electric vehicle. But the California-darling is obviously the Tesla Model S. It seems as if there are shrines to Tesla in California. So itâs shocking that they have Larry driving a BMW i3, a direct Tesla rival, in the show. Itâs likely due to the fact that Larry has been spotted driving an i3 in real life and the show is a satirical version of Larryâs own life.
While not as good as Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm is a funny show that features the dry wit and hilariously awkward situations that exist inside creator Larry Davidâs head. The show is now in its ninth season, having taken a bit of a break butr is now back on HBO. During its original seasons, Larry David, the creator and main character, drove a Toyota Prius, as does everyone in Hollywood. Now, though, in this new season, Larry has swapped his Prius for a more interesting BMW i3. We think itâs pretttty prettty good.
A pretty, pretty strange scene from Curb Your Enthusiasm played out in real life when Larry David cussed out Alan Dershowitz over his ties to former President Donald Trump during an encounter in Martha's Vineyard.

Dershowitz went on to tell David that it was because Pompeo, a former CIA director who served in the Trump administration, was one of his former Harvard students in the 1990s.
However, Dershowitz has not found the encounter as amusing as Curb fans, telling Page Six that "it wasn't funny at all."
Dershowitz told us he wants to âextend a hand of friendshipâ to the âSeinfeldâ co-creator âif Larry wants to talk about any of this.â
Added the stunned source, âLarry walks away. Alan takes off his T-shirt to reveal another T-shirt [underneath it] that says, âItâs The Constitution Stupid !â.â
Reached for comment, Dershowitz confirmed the exchange and told us that he and the âCurbâ creator had been friends for many years until the lawyer began working with the Trump camp.
Dershowitz told us that, while it might sound on paper like an awkward scene from âCurb,â âit wasnât funny at all.â
Dershowitz said David isnât the only friend heâs lost â particularly after he defended President Donald Trump over his first impeachment when Trump was accused of trying to arrange a quid pro quo with the Ukrainian government.
Seinfeld co-creator and current star of HBOâs Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry David, is driving around in a brand new BMW i3 for the showâs ninth season. David drove a Toyota Prius in the showâs previous seasons, and was even spotted driving one in real life.#N#Curb Your Enthusiasm has been off the air for the past six years, and to see it keep up with whatâs trending in the real world isnât that big of a surprise. Aside from the i3, which is has been featured heavily in most of the episodes thus far, a bright red Tesla Model S also made a cameo.

Here is Curb Your Enthusiasm: 15 little tidbits from behind-the-scenes.
One of the reasons Curb Your Enthusiasm is so popular, is because each encounter feels realistic between characters. The reason behind this is that each episode is basically entirely improvised between the cast members, other than a basic outline for each plot that helps drive the scenes.
Fans were not happy with the way Seinfeld ended decades ago, and Larry David vowed not do the same with Curb Your Enthusiasm. He has said the show will obviously end at one point, but no big finale will be needed to send off his iconic television series.
Early on in the show's production, Larry made sure that Jeff Greene would be ok with his weight being used as a punchline on the show. Jeff was fine with it, yet his wife on the show, Susie Essman, had doubts at first about being so mean about his weight. Today, Jeff and Susie's dynamic on the show has become one of the best things on television.
Larry David always thought that reunion shows were sappy and could never capture the essence of the original. A Seinfeld reunion was always something fans wanted to see, and Curb Your Enthusiasm was the way in which we got it. Basically Larry didn't want to do a real reunion show, but it was cleverly achieved through the lens of Curb.
No one has been living in the house for a while ... Larry moved to the uber ritzy Riviera -- also in the Palisades -- and Laurie built her dream home.
Larry David has sold the home he shared with his now-divorced wife ... and he pocketed a pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty penny off of it.
