Tex McIver was convicted of murder in 2018 after his wife Diane McIver was shot and killed two years earlier. On November 4, 1999, Donald Wright was deposed in Tex McIver’s divorce case. Wright was a partner at Fisher Phillips and had interviewed Tex before he joined the firm in 1972. By all accounts, Diane McIver was a self-made woman. She’d started her career by answering phones for others, but she managed to make millions from real estate after hard work and a little luck.
An arrest warrant for Tex McIver was issued in December 2016, following which he turned himself in and spent his 74th birthday in front of a Fulton County judge getting arraigned for manslaughter.
