This is a list of characters from the television series Weeds . Nancy Botwin ( Mary-Louise Parker, leading character)—also known as Lacey LaPlante (season two) and Nathalie Newman (season six)—was a PTA soccer mom until her husband, Judah, suddenly died of a heart attack.

Despite being a fan favorite, Perkins left the series after five seasons and audiences never did find out what happened to Celia, who ended up in Mexico before deciding to get into the weed selling business. “We never really knew what happened to her,” Perkins said. “She didn't die; she wasn't killed.

Although Silas is the biological son of Lars Guinard, Silas was raised by Judah and Nancy in Agrestic, California for 16 years. When Silas points out the risks of dating a DEA agent, she tells Silas that she married Peter. Heylia pressures Nancy into persuading Peter to stop the DEA's investigation into Heylia's operations. With Nancy's world falling down around her, Conrad tells Nancy to marry Peter and quit the drug operation.
While Nancy's drug activities increase, Celia wins Doug's spot on the town council, due to the incompetence of Dean, who forgets to file Doug's paperwork, thus leaving Doug off the ballot. Celia immediately launches a drug-free campaign across Agrestic, with drug-free zone signs and surveillance cameras.
