Depends what kind of lawyer. County prosecutors or public defenders are in court CONSTANTLY (especially new ones who probably start with misdemeanors). But it's still not like law & order.

The first thing I do when I get into the office is create a list of everything I need to do that day. After I finish the list, I convert it into a chart. Once it's converted into a chart, I read it. After reading it about 6 or 7 times, I have lunch.
