As already stated, you cannot force anyone to "work with you" or with your attorney. Your best bet is to file the Motion to Modify and force that attorney to go to Court. You need to find someone who understands what will happen, and is willing to represent you based upon your conversation and relationship with them. Generally, attorneys biggest fears are not getting paid. If you have the funds to leave a large retainer with your attorney, I imagine they will not care what opposing counsel says.

You can't force your ex's lawyer to do anything, including speaking with your attorney. If you want to change the visitation/custody order you should retain your own counsel and apply for a modification and let the court handle it. If you can't find an attorney, you can attempt to do the modification yourself.
