The Buffalo Bills are a professional American football team based in the Buffalo–Niagara Falls metropolitan area. The Bills are the only NFL team that plays its home games in the state of New York.
The Buffalo Bills have the fourth-best quarterback in the NFL on their roster via Josh Allen according to CBS Sports. Having a QB slotted into such a high spot is something Buffalo couldn’t have dreamt of a few short weeks ago. Now, it feels like a bit of a slight. Allen is at No. 4, but some sportsbooks hold him in even higher regard.
That's the way my life has always been,” said Kelly, who now lives in Orchard Park, New York. After his Hall of Fame career that featured four Super Bowl appearances, Kelly has faced more than his fair share of adversity.

Jim Kelly and Frank Reich are tied for losing the most career games by a quarterback in Super Bowls, with 4 losses.
Dan MarinoDan Marino Marino is without a doubt the greatest quarterback to never win a title. He was close early in his career, losing to the San Francisco 49ers in 1984 during his second season. Marino and the Dolphins never returned to the big game, though, as he retired following the 1999 season with an 8-10 playoff record.

Then, fast forward to my cancer when I was diagnosed in 2013, with my first one. Squamous cell carcinoma, I never heard of it.
Daniel Meyer Darragh (born November 28, 1946) is a former American football player. He played college football at William & Mary. A quarterback, he played professionally in the American Football League for the Buffalo Bills from 1968 through 1969, and for the NFL Bills in 1970. He shared the starting job with Ed Rutkowski, Kay Stephenson and Tom Flores in 1968 while long-time starter and former AFL MVP Jack Kemp was out with an injury. He is now a practicing attorney in Pittsburgh.
In 1968 , the Bills selected Darragh in the 13th round of the NFL draft. The Bills starter the previous season, Jack Kemp was slated to miss the entire 1968 season. The Bills had hold overs Tom Flores, Ed Rutkowski and the nearly acquired Kay Stephenson at quarterback. Darraugh won the won out of training camp. The season started with a 16-7 home loss against the Boston Patriots. The Bills then dropped their next two games to Oakland Raiders and Cincinnati Bengals before a 37-35 home win over the New York Jets. The highlight of the game was Bills defensive back Tom Janik picking off a Joe Namath pass and returning it 100 yards for a touchdown. As for Darragh, he only completed eight passes and threw and interception, but he had his first win in the pros as a starting quarterback. It would be the only win for the Bills that season, as they finished 1-12-1. for the season.
Dan Darragh played college football for William & Mary. Ironically, his head coach was Marv Levy, the man who'd lead the Buffalo Bills to four straight Super Bowls. In 1965, Darragh plated in 10 games for William & Mary, passing for 8 touchdown passes, 896 yards and 7 interceptions, and two rushing touchdowns. The Tribe finished with a 6-4 record overall, 5-1 in the Southern Conference. The next season, the Tribe's record slip to 5-4-1 overall, 4-1-1 in conference. The Tribe became more a pass first offense, with Darragh throwing the ball for 1,346 yards, first time he'd eclipsed the 1,000 yard passing mark in his career. In Darragh's senior season, William & Mary continued to struggle, but on November, 11th, 1967, they played West Virginia to a 16-16 tie, handing the Mountaineers the only blemish on their conference record.
Fortunes changed in the following decades with the rise of Jim Kelly as Buffalo's franchise quarterback, and though Kelly and Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino shared a competitive rivalry in the 1980s and 1990s, the Bills became dominant in the 1990s.
The franchise is owned by Terry and Kim Pegula, who purchased the Bills after the death of original owner Ralph Wilson in 2014. The Bills won consecutive AFL Championships in 1964 and 1965, the only major professional sports championships from a team representing Buffalo.
In recent years, bitterness has emerged between the Bills and the Jacksonville Jaguars, who had handed Buffalo its first playoff loss in Bills Stadium in 1996. Both teams occupy two of the smallest media markets in the NFL. After years of concurrent bottom feeding in the late 2000s and early 2010s, this rivalry has emerged after former Bills head coach Doug Marrone, who had quit on the team after the 2014 season, was hired as a coaching assistant for Jacksonville and rose to become the Jaguars' head coach. Since then, the series has featured a Bills loss to the Jaguars in London, an ugly, low-scoring playoff game in 2017, trash talk from former Jaguars players such as Jalen Ramsey, and a brawl between the teams in Buffalo in 2018.
The Bills have rivalries with their three AFC East opponents, and also have had occasional or historical rivalries with other teams such as the Baltimore/Indianapolis Colts (a former divisional rival ), Kansas City Chiefs, Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, and Dallas Cowboys.
Ralph Wilson had been a minority owner of the Lions before founding the Bills. The team's original colors were Honolulu blue, silver and white, and the helmets were silver with no striping.
The Bills and Jets were both original AFL teams, and both represent the state of New York, though the Jets (since 1984) actually play their games in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
A notable use of the Bills' uniforms outside of football was in the 2018 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, when the United States men's national junior ice hockey team wore Bills-inspired uniforms in their outdoor game against Team Canada on December 29, 2017.
Jim Kelly | 1986-1996. One of the best quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL, Kelly is the Bills all-time leader in passing touchdowns, yards, completions, touchdowns in a season, and passer rating in a single season as well. His number 12 is retired by the Bills.
Flutie returned to Buffalo for the first time since leaving the Bills during the 2019 season. Buffalo Bills quarterback Doug Flutie throws from the pocket against the Miami Dolphins during the eastern conference match-up at Rich Stadium Sunday, Nov. 1, 1998.
