This all came to an end, however, when Annalise decided to end her relationship with Eve so that she could be with (and eventually marry) her therapist, Sam Keating. Eve did not take well to the breakup and has yet to move on, still thinking about her former lover every day.
Wes is a Keating, but he's Sam's son, not Annalise's. Sam, known for preying on naive women, knocked up Wes's mother. Annalise discovers this. Something goes wrong, and her baby and Wes's mom end up dead.
In order to avoid Asher, the group then took Rebecca into the basement and tied her up. It was there that she told Wes she didn't kill Lila. She explained how she found Lila and jumped into the water tank with her to hide. Wes came upstairs and told everyone, but when Annalise went to check on Rebecca, she was gone.
2. Remember those fingernail scratches on the wall above the bed in Wes's (Alfred Enoch) apartment? They're important. A refresher: The scratches were there when Wes moved in and, according to his girlfriend/neighbor Rebecca, the apartment's previous tenant was a law student named Rudy who had a nervous breakdown.
However, as the season got underway, viewers found out that Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber) strangled Lila Stangard even before Sam's murder. It turns out that Annalise's husband was sleeping with her and ended up getting her pregnant. He hired Frank to murder Lila to cover everything up.
