I make the movies that speak out loud to me. When I read Black or White, I thought it was a real, authentic look at where we are in this country when it comes to race. And I thought that writer-director Mike (Binder) went at this in such an unusual way. It is based on some true events and his own life.
His daughter died in childbirth and implies that she was not on speaking terms with them at the time. He also needs him to tutor himself in math to help her. Rowena is threatening to sue for custody via her brother who is a big time lawyer.
In most cases white clothes look just like black clothes in the infrared spectrum. They both reflect about the same amount of thermal radiation. That means you are going to be better off with white clothes, since they don't absorb as much visible light.
