Started using my 40k minis as proxies for monsters in Betrayal instead of the tokens, I think its added some much needed tension to the game

This is not a knock on Oath. I quite like it. If you're not familiar, "The Cones of Dunshire" was a board game developed by a character on TV show Parks and Rec which was used in a gag related to having complex and grandiose sounding rules. I feel like this sentence from Oath is the most "Dunshire" sounding rule from an actual game.

Reverse Kingmaking? Players don't care about winning as long as I lose

I am the veteran board gamer in the group. I have a fair number of friends who play various games with me on a regular basis. We have fun and I have no problem losing (in fact, I rarely win) . . . However, I have noticed a trend in our gameplay. Reverse kingmaking: they do not care who wins as long as I lose.
