Your Honor is special because it’s one of the few law dramas that is serialized, where others tend to be procedural case-of-the-week type shows.
As the show follows Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams, ) a law associate who never actually went to law school, Suits cleverly sees the character close the book on cases while maintaining his secret at the same time.
As the show is about a wife of a state attorney who goes back in to law when her husband is caught in the middle of a sex scandal, The Good Wife is massively influenced by real life events such as the scandal involving Bill Clinton.
The Law & Order franchise is one of the most successful on TV, but the first spin-off of the series, Special Victims Unit, is rated higher than even the original series. Situated in a fictionalized version of the NYPD, SVU often focuses on crimes that are loosely based on real events that have gained considerable media attention.
Law & Order has several spin-off shows, Breaking Bad received a legal drama spin-off in the form of Better Call Saul, and of course, the great Boston Legal is a spin-off of The Practice. It’s one of the rare times in which a spin-off is better than the original.
The series follows Annalise Keating (Viola Davis), a law professor and criminal defense attorney who takes five students under her wing. It’s a fascinating drama, as those very people become intertwined in their very own murder plot. The show is rated so high mostly due to Davis’ incredible portrayal of Keating, and it has some interesting crossovers with Scandal , too.
On top of that, Your Honor is a limited series, too, meaning there won’t be another season, but what audiences got was something special and completely different to anything in the genre, and Michael Desiato (Cranston) isn’t much better than Walter White from Breaking Bad.
The series is roughly based on George H.W. Bush administration press aide Judy Smith, who served on the series as a co-executive producer.

Questions about that flash-forward funeral scene and the apparent reappearance of Wes (Alfred Enoch) are answered, but "Stay" does more than simply wrap up the obvious questions. As a finale, it offers closure on each of the main characters, while delivering a surprisingly moral message about telling the truth and moving past the things that each of the major players has done.
The finale throws a few twists and turns, although none as big as Laurel's (Karla Souza) surprise backing of Annalise in the previous episode. Jorge Castillo (Esai Morales) takes the stand and declares his innocence, ...
The history of attorneys on TV dates back to the 1950s with the appearance of “Mr. Malone” on NBC in 1951. The genre is alive and well today with more than a dozen law-related shows on broadcast television at any one time, not to mention the shows available on cable and streaming networks.
20. Harvey Birdman, “Harvey Birdman, “Attorney at Law”. The first thing that should be noted is that Harvey Birdman is the only lawyer that has “Attorney at Law” in the title of his show.
During the 17 seasons that “Law & Order” was on the air, McCoy went from private practice to assistant district attorney to district attorney, bringing down some of the vilest criminals to appear against him
That should count for something, shouldn’t it? Birdman isn’t much of a lawyer, but he often wins his cases, mostly through sheer luck.
Speaking of bad lawyering, you can’t have a list like this without including Winger. Anyone who has a degree from Colombia (as opposed to Columbia) already gets my vote. Unlike some of the names on this list, Winger was actually good at his job, just a victim of circumstances and pettiness.
Not necessarily the attorney you want to call if you want to beat a case legitimately.
With How to Get Away with Murder, Shonda Rhimes has made a name for herself as an iconic creator. HTGAWM fans in search of another shondaland show to fill the void left by the end of the series should check out Scandali. Several similarities can be drawn between the characters in these two productions. There is a Huck instead of a Frank. Quinn takes the place of Bonnie in the story.

Camille, like Annalise, is an unreliable narrator because of her many flaws.
What Will Happen Nextis a magnificent work of art. The show’s protagonist, like Annalise, is a flawed hero who struggles with addiction. Ryan Hardy, a retired FBI agent, is dragged out of retirement by the escape of notorious criminal Joe Carroll.
