Clyde Harkness was Mac Harkness's brother, Ophelia Harkness's brother in law and Anna Mae's uncle. He is described as a big man, who loved to smoke and drink. It is revealed that he lived with Annalise when she was a child and sexually abused her. Ophelia found out and started a house fire that killed Clyde.
Annalise is a woman with two faces; one of them, a strong woman, that she shows the world, while the other, a sentimental and destroyed human being, was shown to Nate and Wes.
When Annalise was little, Mac's brother, Clyde Harkness, raped Annalise. He died soon after to what appeared to be an accidental house fire. During Celestine's 13th birthday party, Annalise tried to tell Mac about what Clyde had done to her however, he didn't believe her.

In season six, it is revealed that Frank Delfino is the son of Sam Keating and his sister Hannah. Because Frank is the catalyst behind the car crash that killed Sam in utero, Frank is indirectly responsible for his baby brother's death. Sam, Frank, and Gabriel Maddox are all sons of Annalise's husband, Sam.
When Frank was 13, he had had enough of his fathers strict punishments and planned to murder him for weeks. Once the perfect moment finally arose, he runs his father over and left him suffering under the car with his only thought being that he hadn't done it right. He stayed in jail for 10 years.
