Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer is about Theo, a thirteen-year-old only child whose parents are a tax lawyer (father) and a divorce lawyer (mother).
What's the story? Thirteen year-old Theodore Boone gives legal advice to friends at school. He gets in over his head, though, when an illegal immigrant who has witnessed a murder seeks his help. Theo uses his great knowledge of the legal system -- and a little help from his lawyer parents -- to see that justice is done.
The ultimate super kid scenario did bring a little bit of laughter yet it’s alright. ‘Daddy lawyer, mummy lawyer, uncle lawyer and I wanna be a lawyer so My playground is the courthouse, my friends are lawyers and judges’. It reminded me of a certain family I was acquainted with and such kids do exist in real world.
I have enjoyed really much reading the walking of the applicant kid lawyer. I must recognize one thing, and it is that John Grisham, (whom i discover thanks to m father) write rather well, and he told fascinaiting stories about trials. In this case he manages to give to his main character the gift that the reader gets on with this character.

Parents need to know that this book is a tamer version of Grisham’s adult novels. The central murder is described without excessive violence or detail, and there's no bad language or sex. The story delves into social issues such as homelessness and illegal immigrants.
I can't find any other positive figures as these book series somewhere else. This book introduced law terms as in the other books. I like the humor and fun... Continue reading

This plot-driven novel hits a few dry spots along the way, but the author manages to weave in some legal basics and kids interested in the law will appreciate the Courtroom 101. Although Theo can be a little too good to be real at times, he is confronted with some tough moral conflicts that will give teen readers plenty to consider.
