Paid off OUR HOUSE

Hello, folks. The wife and I paid off our house this past Friday morning. We were down to the last $13,000 owed. I was going over the finances and the wife suggested it. I was getting nervous. I wanted to pay like $1k each week for a couple of months.

I'M DEBT FREE!!!

I'm 26 and I had two cars, one for me and one for my fiance. My car (18 nissan altima) was paid off and I owed 18,500 on my 18 jeep renegade. Well I sold my Nissan for 11,500. With that money, in bought 2 older vehicles. After that was done, I sold the jeep that we were upside down ~$500 on and broke even on it.

The last $11500 paid off in seven months. It’s been a hard year but I’m finally free of all the car debt, credit card debt, consolidation loan debt. I know it sounds cliche but the motivation is real, hacking your brain’s dopamine release through achievable goals is no joke. I am never going back.

So like many people, we got a dog during to pandemic. Before I never really had much of an emergency fund. Well I’ve held onto the 1k in a checking account while attacking BS2. And of course, with life, sh*t happens. Dog got sick, throwing up, no appetite or energy, diarrhea, and required a $300 vet bill.

I just paid off all my student loans off yesterday ($20k) including this upcoming semester. so no debt. I have 7k in a Roth IRA I have about 5k in savings account. I just accepted an offer of 70k/yr contingent upon graduation (cybersecurity)

Credit Card Debt Gone!
