How to not feel exhausted at the end of the day?

When the day is done, go home. Turn off your phone, relax, have a proper meal, spend time with family, and reflect on your day.

1. A CLEAN DESK SPACE

First of all, I NEED to have a clean desk before I can start studying. A messy desk is a messy mind! Before I start studying, I always like to remove all the dirt + the mess of books I made the night before. Preferabely I like to clean my whole room, but sometimes I just don’t have enough time for that.

2. PLANNER

The next key tip I can give you for staying organized is using a good planner to schedule out your day and week. I use my own Supplied by Lily Student Desk Planner, because it looks really cute on my desk (love the marble and rose gold!) and it’s also very functional. You can get the Supplied by Lily Student Desk Planner here.

3. KNOW YOUR DEADLINES & EXAMS

This tip is really important for me personally. I’m a double degree student as most of you guys probably know (I’m doing the Research Master in Law and the Bachelor of Philosophy of a Specific Scientific Field), so my exam and deadline schedule can get crazy sometimes.

4. COLOR CORDINATE

I’m a very visual person, hence I like to color cordinate my notes. I like using different colors for different subjects and for different topics as well (for example, I can make all case law pink or all philosophers of one certain movement blue). This way, I remember information way better + it makes your notes look pretty too. 🙂

5. ORGANIZE YOUR NOTES

Last, but not least: organize your notes using document folders. I only use one notebook for all my classes (if I use multiple ones, I always end up bringing the wrong one with me to class). What I like to do is organize all my notes later on in these document folders.
