Aug 12, 2019 · My feeling is you'd need to do a German LLB, which is 9 semesters. Then you'd need to take a first exam, then a 2-year training, then another exam. The LLB and the exams would be in German. In Sweden I believe you'd need residency in the EU or EEA to be admitted to the bar.
In theory, yes, you can study law in Europe, graduate from law school there, and then sit for a US bar exam. If you use BarBri or Themis, and study very slowly and carefully, you may just pass. After all, the bar in most states is not really very hard. Sometimes older lawyers like to tell bar exam war stories, but the bar isn’t like that anymore.
