The only drawback is some departments are 'silo'd off' and stubborn on information sharing. Several non-attorney Directors run their own fiefdoms without effective oversight (library, information officers, knowledge management, etc)..
Nonstop work, but surrounded by other high performing individuals means you get a lot done, for clients and internally. As far as BigLaw goes, I wouldn't work anywhere else.
