A: Yes! We welcome cash payments on all city buses. However, we strongly suggest that all riders get their HOLO card to take full advantage of all the wonderful features. We use TheBus and Waikiki Pink Line Trolley bus to get around Waikiki and downtown Honolulu. The buses and trolleys are often packed going from Ala Moana Shopping Centre to Waikiki hotels. Saw an Aussie family queue up for ages for the bus only to be told by the driver they don't give change or accept credit cards.
