Flexible scheduling, hard to move up, management can be better, mangers choose favorites. If you been there longer than someone that doesn't mean you will get moved up.
the place is extremely fast paced while only being paid $7 plus tips (around $12), the managers are awful and will schedule you with little to no hours/schedule you on your time off. there is clear favoritism around the employees and the only perk was that you can get free food after your shift. don’t recommend working here.
I love working at Fresh Kitchen. The shift leaders are there to help you and they create a positive work environment. You make friends on the job, the pay is good, and hours are very flexible.
Started off great but management got worse and worse as time went by and it went downhill. They will work you a lot if you tell them you are interested in moving up in any way.
There really isn't anything positive I can say about this job and especially at this location. The managers are TOXIC, which in turn creates a toxic work environment. They all have a different way of doing things, they all gossip about the coworkers, there is no seniority, no loyalty, there is always drama, and the managers have horrible attitudes.
This job was not for me and I did not enjoy my time at this job at all. The pay I had was disappointing and towards the end, my experience at this job was a slap in the face. I do not recommend this job. The actual manager, CEO of the job was a decent man, but that's about it.
I was promised $11 when I was hired (after covid lockdown and restaurants were open again) and was only paid $5/hr + shared tips, the amount of work that I did wasn’t worth $5 and the way I was expected to do so much for $5/hr is wild.
