Karen was attracted to Matt, and found it a pity that such a wonderful, handsome man could be so handicapped. Back in Sensational She-Hulk, she was a prosecutor working for the Manhattan DA's office. In She-Hulk, was doing both civil work representing plaintiffs and defendants and criminal defense work. That's not uncommon; lots of lawyers move from prosecution to defense or back over the course of their careers.
Foggy juggles both cases and ends up both the winner and the loser. Matt kind of gave up on lawyering and left Foggy holding the bag for all of season 2, so at the very least Foggy has the edge in experience and ability to actually show up and do his job.

Stick. Stick (portrayed by Scott Glenn) is a mysterious martial artist and Matt Murdock's mentor, who is in his late 90s. Murdock returned to Melvin Potter's Workshop and donned his newly repaired helmet and suit. He went to the location where the New York City Police Department had set their trap for the Punisher. However, Punisher discovered the trap and attempted to kill several Dogs of Hell members so as to distract the Police Department, he then aim at Grotto in order to kill him. Fortunately, Daredevil found him on the nearby roof and attacked him; the two brawled while the police shot at the Punisher. After a lengthy fight between the two combatants, they crashed through a skylight into the building below. Arising, Daredevil's hearing began to fail him again and he became disoriented. Punisher used this to his advantage, knocking Daredevil unconscious.
Daredevil met Elektra outside of the Midland Circle construction site and let her know that she ruined Frank Castle 's case by threatening Gregory Tepper. She responded that she was following his own rules: you don't get what you want by day, you take it by force at night. However, this was easier said than done as Daredevil was attacked by a robot created by Starr Saxon and hired out by Biggie Benson. He battled Saxon many times. He later impersonated Mister Fear.

In order to build the defense for their case representing John Healy, Matt Murdock proposed to use section 35.15 of the Penal Code, and then they would explain all the facts and leave the verdict to the jury and the statue of Lady Justice. Foggy Nelson seemed to be mad about this, but he was actually mad at their internet connection, claiming they needed a better Wi-Fi. However, Murdock told him they actually needed better everything.
Murdock told him that was one of the points where law met reality, and if he did not put on the mask, they risked losing Hoffman and Fisk would win.
Page told Nelson and Murdock that they could not let Fisk get away with the tenancy case, and Murdock proposed applying an old principle from both law and war, to know your enemy.
Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson returned to their law office to discuss the reason they accepted to represent John Healy, with Nelson being mad at Murdock for how he acted accepting the case unilaterally and then interrogating Healy as if they were cops.
Nelson then asked about the girl of the burner phone, pointing out Murdock's gift to know a girl was hot even without seeing her. Murdock revealed that their relationship did not work out, and then told Nelson he would stay at the office preparing their tenement case.
Murdock explained how they had a disagreement over the direction of their law firm, as he believed they had to defend the innocent, and Nelson believed that, as the law stated, the word "innocent" includes everyone not yet convicted of a crime.
